PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor, simulate, and optimize energy efficiency of various complex plant (production facilities).SOLUTION: An energy management system includes: a collection unit for collecting information related to energy efficiency of a production facility; and a processing unit which either monitors, simulates, or optimizes energy efficiency of production activity by the production facility based on the energy efficiency-related information collected by the collection unit using modeled units obtained by modeling information related to energy efficiency of each constituent of the production facility based on a predefined rule. |
