PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge thickener of a low installation cost that can prevent abrasion of the periphery of a movable plate and easily adjust a filtrate amount, suppressing degradation of thickening performance without requiring cleaning members.SOLUTION: A sludge thickener 1 is equipped with a rotating shaft 11 having a screw 11a to send filtrate, a motor 15 to rotate the rotating shaft 11, a plurality of fixed plates 12 arranged so as to surround the screw 11a, and movable plates 13 arranged between adjacent fixed plates 12, and further includes cleaning means for washing a laminate filter body F having filter grooves S formed between the adjacent fixed plates 12, and the outer periphery of the laminate filter body F with water or air. |
