PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of transferring to defrosting operation at proper timing by determining the presence/absence of frosting of an outdoor machine in heating operation, with a structure where the air conditioner includes a plurality of indoor machines with respect to one outdoor machine.SOLUTION: An indoor machine transmits to an outdoor machine an operation state notification for notifying an operator of its own operation state. The outdoor machine determines the number of indoor machines for performing heating operation among a plurality of indoor machines on the basis of the operation state notification state, and determines frosting determination after a preset time is elapsed after the change of the number of indoor machines for performing heating operation. |
