MIST GENERATOR AND CONTROL METHOD OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator which prevents a vibrator and/or a driving semiconductor element of the vibrator from generating excessive heat without providing a special structure, and to provide a control method of the mist generator.SOLUTION: A mist generator includes: a tank for storing a liquid; a vibrator 16 which makes the liquid into mist by vibrations; a fan which introduces outer air and sends the air into the tank; a power transistor Q5 which drives the vibrator 16; a heat sink on which the power transistor Q5 is provided; and a voltage detection circuit 30 which detects an output voltage of the power transistor Q5. When a difference between the voltage detected by the voltage detection circuit 30 and a predefined voltage exceeds a certain voltage range, operation of the vibrator 16 or the power transistor Q5 is stopped.
