PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel chair in which front wheels at the footing do not move inadvertently when sitting on the wheel chair, large-diameter tires of rear wheels are less likely to be damaged, a lock and unlock operation mechanism of the wheels is simple, and maintenance is easy.SOLUTION: A wheel chair 1 comprises a pair of large-diameter rear wheels 2 and a pair of front wheels of double-wheel casters 3. The front wheels of the double-wheel casters are provided with lock mechanisms 4 for locking and unlocking the double-wheel casters. In a grip part 124 located at the rear part of the wheel chair, a lock and unlock operation mechanism having an operation lever 51 for locking and unlocking the double-wheel casters of the front wheels simultaneously is provided. When the operation lever of the operation mechanism is gripped, the casters are unlocked. |
