PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hearing aid providing the freedom of combining different active components such as receivers, signal processors or filters without the need of having a housing adapted for each combination.SOLUTION: A hearing aid comprises: a hearing aid housing 1; a receiver 5 with a receiver housing. The hearing aid housing 1 comprises an internal cavity 8 adapted for containing the receiver 5. A mounting passage 13 for insertion of the receiver 5 into an adapter 6 (cerumen filter holder) is provided such that wiring 4 can extend through the mounting passage 13, and connected to electronics 3 arranged on a face plate 2. The adapter 6 is releasably mounted on the hearing aid housing 1 by means of a snap connection 12. |
