PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor for transporting a wheel chair which has an improved transportation efficiency of the wheel chair.SOLUTION: A passenger conveyor is equipped with a step chain (3) wrapped in an endless form, and plural steps (6) which are connected to the step chain and circularly move between an entrance (4) and an exit (5). In the conveyor, plural specific steps (6a, 6b), by which a wheel chair is mounted in a circulation passage (W1) formed by the plural steps, are disposed at a predetermined interval, and the predetermined interval is so set that when one among the plural specific steps is stopped at the entrance, one among the remaining specific steps is positioned at the exit. |
