PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, electronic apparatus, and driving method of a display device with which an image with a desired brightness can be displayed.SOLUTION: A display device includes: an image display panel; a light source that illuminates the image display panel; and a control part that stores information indicating the relationship between a signal input to the light source and the intensity of light output from the light source to the image display panel, calculates the intensity of light output from the light source on the basis of the input signal, and calculates a signal to be input to the light source on the basis of the information and calculated intensity of light to control the brightness of the light source. The information is information for correcting the deviation between actual characteristics and target characteristics.
