PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a transmission delay time while restraining the power consumption of a terminal device when data is transmitted by multi-hop communication.SOLUTION: A base station device comprises: a first transmitting/receiving unit that performs radio communication with another base station device and a terminal device; and a first control unit that causes the first transmitting/receiving unit to transmit a presence notification signal including identification signal enabling identification of the base station device at a shorter cycle as the number of hops from the base station device to a prescribed base station device is smaller, and causes another base station device that has a smaller number of hops to the prescribed base station device than the base station device to transmit a signal when the first transmitting/receiving unit receives the signal including data. The terminal device comprises: a second transmitting/receiving unit that performs radio communication with the base station device; and a second control unit that shifts the second transmitting/receiving unit from a sleep state to a communication enabled state when data to be transmitted to a prescribed base station device is input into the terminal device, keeps the second transmitting/receiving unit continuing to receive signals until a presence notification signal is received, and causes the second transmitting/receiving unit to transmit data to the transmission source of a presence notification signal received first after the shift to the communication enabled state. |
