PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an image in which the impact due to the characteristics of an imaging optical system is corrected suitably.SOLUTION: An imaging device can generate an image in which the impact due to the characteristics of an imaging optical system is corrected suitably. More specifically, the imaging device requests a recovery filter corresponding to a mounted imaging optical system for an external device, and receives a corresponding recovery filter from the external device and stores. Impact due to the imaging optical system on an image signal is reduced by applying an already stored recovery filter to the image signal obtained by shooting under set shooting conditions. When the recovery filter corresponding to an imaging optical system has been stored already, the imaging device sets the shooting conditions based on the shooting conditions corresponding to the recovery filter. |
