PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint showing a superior flowing-down performance inside the pipe joint in which a fatigue breakage at corner segments inside a branch pipe in its branch direction or corner segments inside a bent part in its bending direction is reduced or prevented for a long period of time and its weight is restricted as much as possible even if a bending stress caused by pulsation is repeatedly applied.SOLUTION: This pipe joint 1 is constituted in such a way that thickenings at 10 are applied for each of corner portions C between a main body part 3 and a branch pipe part 2 connected to cross with the main body part, or an inner corner of a bent part in its bending direction over a required range from opening ends 4 to stopper step segments 5, and a radius curvature at a top part of an outer circumferential surface is gradually increased more than a radius before thickening as it approaches to the top part in a circumferential direction so as to form a curved shape smoothly expanded toward the top part, so that even if a bending stress caused by pulsation is repeatedly acted upon the thickenings at 10, a fatigue breakage at the corner segments is reduced or prevented for a long period of time and a weight of the entire pipe joint is restricted as much as possible. |
