PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a confirmation procedure to confirm whether or not an email can be transmitted to a mail server.SOLUTION: An email communication device includes a communication unit 300 for transmitting an email to a mail server 110 by using a setting value to transmit the email. The communication unit 300 includes: a setting value temporary holding unit for temporarily holding a setting value which was input; and a mail processing unit that outputs a login request to the mail server 110 by using the setting value temporarily held by the setting value temporary holding unit when a test command is received, and obtains a login result from login propriety transmitted by the mail server 110. |
