PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic contactor capable of reducing contact wear by preventing a movable contact and a stationary contact from being separated minutely.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic contactor 50 includes: a case 1; a stationary core 5 which is supported via an elastic body 6 relatively to the case 1; a movable core 10 which is disposed oppositely to the stationary core 5; a movable system support member 11 which energizes the movable core 10 away from the stationary core 5 and supports the movable core 10 relatively to the case 1; an exciting coil 2 which is installed around the stationary core 5 and generates an electromagnetic force that adsorbs the movable core 10 to the stationary core 5 against the energizing force of the movable system support member 11 during excitation; a stationary contact base 4 that is rigidly fixed to the stationary core 5; a stationary contact 3 engaged to the stationary contact base 4; and a movable contact 7 that is moved together with the movable core 10 and brought into contact with the stationary contact 3 during the excitation of the exciting coil 2. |
