The present invention relates to a laser marking apparatus having an automatic focus control function and, more specifically, relates to a laser marking apparatus capable of automatic focus control based on a location of a detected marking target object. The laser marking apparatus having the automatic focus control function comprises: a generator (12); an expander (15) to control a focus of a beam generated by the generator (12); an X-direction mirror and a Y-direction mirror to reflect the beam transmitted from the expander (15); an F-theta lens (L3) to position a focus of the beam transmitted from the X-direction mirror and the Y-direction mirror (L1, L2) on a work material (W); and a control device (11). The laser marking apparatus further comprises a distance measuring device (16) which measures a distance from the work material (W) to the F-theta lens (L3), and transfers the distance to the control device (11) to form a focus on a prescribed location of the work material (W). |
