RECONFIGURABLE PHYSICALLY UNCLONABLE FUNCTION APPARATUS AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF

Disclosed are a reconfigurable physically unclonable function (PUF) apparatus which maintains quick reading/writing and high integration which are the merits of a variable resistance memory and uses the deviation of variable resistance voltage value, and an operating method thereof. The reconfigurable PUF apparatus includes a variable resistance memory array where variable resistance memory unit cells are arranged, and a variable resistance memory controller which initializes the variable resistance memory unit cells with a high resistance state (HRS) resistance state based on a first reconfigurable structure command to apple a set voltage and initializes the variable resistance memory unit cells with a low resistance state (LRS) resistance state based on a second reconfigurable structure command to apply a reset voltage.
