The present invention discloses an optical filter apparatus which controls polarization of light. The apparatus includes a polarizer, a birefringence film, and a quarter-wave plate (QWP). The polarizer and the birefringence film are at an angle of 45º. The birefringence film and the QWP are at an angle of 45º. After passing through the three optical components, light is comprised to have linear polarization having a different polarizing axis according to a wavelength. |
