The present invention provides a centrifugal pump which can play a part more stably, and preferably restrain at least one of the capacity reduction of the pump and the gas amount dissolved in the liquid. The centrifugal pump (1) comprises a suction inlet (13) for sucking a fluid; an impeller (5) at least possessing a plurality of blades at the side of the suction inlet, and sucking the fluid from the suction inlet by taking a specific shaft (3) penetrating the suction inlet as the center to rotate, and discharging the fluid in the direction orthorhombic with the shaft; a pump head (6) possessing the suction inlet, and accepting the impeller (5);a first opening part (10)arranged at the position opposite to the blades at the pump head and the suction inlet side; a second opening part (11) arranged at the part of the pump head orthorhombic with the shaft and/or the part of the pump head reverse with the suction inlet side; and a path (12) for connecting the first and second opening parts. |
