The present invention relates to a method and a system for outputting a calculation process in accordance with equation recognition, recognizing an equation noted down on a touch screen and outputting a calculation process of the recognized equation along with a graph. The method includes the following steps: storing a calculation process; receiving an equation from a user; outputting the inputted equation to an interface unit; determining whether or not the equation is solvable; applying the calculation process to the equation if the equation is solvable; generating the calculation process and a graph of the equation and outputting the calculation process and the graph to the interface unit; and outputting the calculation process and the graph of the equation through a display unit.
