An apparatus for separating and collecting a high-strength short fiber of the present invention comprises a separation chamber (10) and a collection chamber (20) with one side end portion in communication with the separation chamber (10). An upper end portion of the separation chamber (10) is installed with an inlet (11) into which a high-strength short fiber bundle (raw material) is inputted, and an air spraying nozzle (13) whereas a rotating propeller (14) is installed on a lower end portion thereof. A filter (21) capable of passing only a separated high-strength short fiber and air is installed on one end portion of both end portions of the collection chamber (20), which is in communication with the separation chamber (10), whereas a collection filter (22) capable of passing only air while not passing a separated high-strength short fiber is installed on the other end portion. The present invention can effectively separate and collect high-strength short fibers forming a high-strength short fiber bundle in which high-strength short fibers are mutually bonded in a cut surface without any damage to the high-strength short fiber.
