1. A process for producing a molding, the process comprising the following steps:
a) introduction of a foamable reactive resin into a melamine resin foam support material wherein the foamable reactive resin displays its foaming action when it is introduced into the support material, wherein the foamable reactive resin is at least one polyurethane resin, polyester resin or epoxy resin, and b) compressive deformation of the melamine resin foam support material comprising the foamable reactive resin, wherein at elevated pressure and elevated temperature, a suitable mold is used and wherein the molding after compressive deformation (step b)) has a thickness of ≦80% in comparison to the thickness of the support material used in step a). |
