The invention relates to a method for producing a two-dimensional or spatial framework (1) by means of bars (2), which are connected to at least one other bar (2) and/or another component at joints and are composed of a composite material, which has fibers and a matrix, comprising the following steps: producing the bars (2) from the composite material, connecting the bars (2) to at least one other bar (2) and/or the other component at the joints. The problem addressed by the invention is that of producing the framework economically and reliably with little technical effort. This problem is solved in that the bars (2) are produced by means of pultrusion and/or extrusion and a putrusion unit (6) and/or an extrusion unit (7) is moved in space such that the pultruded and/or extruded bars (2) are pultruded and/or extruded at the required position within the framework (1) after the pultrusion and/or extrusion.
