Disclosed are a power adjustment apparatus and method. The apparatus comprises a receiving module, an acquisition module, an adjustment module and a sending module. The receiving module is used for receiving a signal sent by a terminal device; the acquisition module is used for acquiring a signal quality index according to the signal received by the receiving module, wherein the signal quality index is used for identifying the signal quality of the signal sent by the power adjustment apparatus and received by the terminal device; the adjustment module is used for adjusting a transmit power according to the signal quality index after the acquisition module acquires the signal quality index; and the sending module is used for sending the signal according to the transmit power adjusted by the adjustment module. The above-mentioned solutions achieve that a power adjustment apparatus dynamically adjusts a transmit power according to a signal quality index of a signal received by a terminal device, thereby ensuring the reception performance of the terminal device and enhancing the reliability of communication. |
