A terminal and a method for displaying caller information are disclosed. According to one embodiment, the terminal capable of displaying caller information can comprise: an incoming call notification unit for outputting a notification of an incoming call when the call is received; a user attention recognition unit for recognizing a user attention state in which a user pays attention to a display of the terminal; a dynamic display control unit for determining the amount of information to be displayed on the display among pieces of pre-stored caller information on the basis of an elapsed time from the time at which the notification of the incoming call starts until the time at which the user attention state is recognized; and a call-waiting screen display unit for displaying the caller information in the determined information amount on a call-waiting screen of the display.
