PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implantable device for treating a gastro-esophageal reflux disease.SOLUTION: A device 10 comprises a main body 13 having an outer surface 15 that is configured to contact with a stomach bottom wall 16 of a patient, the main body preventing the cardia from entering into pleural cavity 20 through an opening of diaphragm 18, thereby keeping an abdominal pressure, which supports a sphincter of the cardia, to prevent a back flow. The device can be fixed to the gastric tissue. It is also possible to indirectly fix the device to a proper position by invaginating the device at the proper position or by using any other method. |
