PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of highly accurately executing the calibration of an image display device, while suppressing the degradation of the image quality of a display image.SOLUTION: An image display device includes light-emitting means, display means for modulating light from the light-emitting means, to display an image on a screen, light emission control means for controlling the light emission of the light-emitting means on the basis of input image data, display control means for executing display processing for displaying a plurality of images for calibration on the screen in order, acquisition means for acquiring the measurement value of the light emitted from an area where the image for calibration is displayed, and calibration means for executing the calibration on the basis of the measurement values of the plurality of images for calibration. When the light emission state of the light-emitting means is changed from the light emission state of the light-emitting means before the display processing is executed, during the execution of the display processing, the display control means executes the display processing again. |
