PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grindstone capable of achieving a high processing rate while reducing the surface roughness of a polishing object, a polishing device equipped with the grindstone, a polishing method using the grindstone and a method for producing a ceramic member in which the polishing method is implemented.SOLUTION: A grindstone 18 is the grindstone for polishing a ceramic ball made of silicon nitride. The grindstone 18 includes: a hard abrasive grain made of a material having higher hardness than silicon nitride being a material constituting the ceramic ball being a polishing object; and a ceramic abrasive grain made of silicon nitride being the same material as the material constituting the ceramic ball.
