PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for efficiently producing a cell structure without using expensive material and by simple steps.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for producing a cell structure which comprises: a cell structure forming step for culturing cells having the capability of producing II-type collagen and substantially maintaining a differentiation state, in a culture medium containing ascorbic acid and for allowing a cell structure to form; and an enzyme treatment step for subjecting the cell structure formed in the cell structure forming step to enzyme treatment to obtain the cell structure.
