The present invention relates to a protective film, a polarizing plate, and a display, wherein the protective film comprises a first polyester layer and a second polyester layer, and may be usually used as a protective film for a polarizing plate by having an in-plane phase difference of 300 nm or less and a thickness direction phase difference of 2,400 nm or less, having excellent heat resistance and hydrolysis resistance, having no observed rainbow stain, etc., and having improved optical properties.
