PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system configured to support setting an upper limit of outputs of log information, and an information processing method.SOLUTION: An information processing system includes: generation means which converts first log information of a program described with a variable length in a source code to second log information of the program described with a fixed length, on the basis of the source code of the program to be mounted on an image forming apparatus, to generate a program; setting means which calculates the volume of the second log information to be output without any influence on predetermined processing during the processing of the image forming apparatus, and sets an upper limit of outputs of the second log information on the basis of the calculated volume; measurement means for measuring the number of outputs of the second log information during the predetermined processing; and notification means which transmits log frequency information including information on the program, the second log information, the number of outputs, and the upper limit of outputs, to an information processing apparatus. |
