PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a photographer to operate an iris through a demand connector by using existing equipment, without changing the configuration of a lens body.SOLUTION: A lens device including a movable lens, movable lens control means for controlling the drive of the movable lens, a variable diaphragm, and diaphragm control means for controlling the drive of the variable diaphragm includes a plurality of connectors including a connector for inputting and outputting the control signal of the movable lens control means and being for signal input and output, identification means for identifying the kind of an operation device connected to the plurality of connectors, and control data conversion means for converting a signal inputted to a predetermined connector among the plurality of connectors from operation control means for the movable lens as a signal for controlling the diaphragm control means, when the operation control means is connected to the predetermined connector and for outputting the signal to the diaphragm control means. |
