PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a safer and highly reliable fluid injection device.SOLUTION: A fluid injection device comprises: a fluid container having a fluid storage section storing fluid and a fluid outlet formed on the fluid storage section; a fluid pressing section pressing the fluid storage section and causing the fluid to outflow from the fluid outlet; connection piping having one end connected to the fluid outlet; a fluid injection section injecting the fluid taken in from a fluid intake port connected with the other end of the connection piping in a pulsed manner; a flow passage open/close section opening and closing a flow passage of the fluid in the connection piping; a pressure detection section detecting a pressure when the fluid pressing section presses the fluid storage section and outputting a detection signal of a level corresponding to the pressure; and a control section determining the pressure detection section to have failure in the case where the pressure indicated by the detection signal is less than a first determination value when the fluid pressing section is caused to press the fluid storage section in a state of the flow passage being closed by the flow passage open/close section and the fluid pressing section is brought into contact with the fluid storage section or in the case where the pressure is equal to a second determination value or more when the fluid pressing section is not brought into contact therewith. |
