Disclosed in the present invention are a resource creation method and apparatus, the method comprising: receiving a resource creation request from a sending terminal, wherein the information carried in the resource creation request includes resource creation information corresponding to the resource to be created; on the basis of the resource creation information, determining whether re-allocation of a first resource name to the resource to be created is required, and then creating the resource to be created. On the basis of the technical solution provided in the present invention, the management of resource names by a CSE is enhanced, ensuring the uniqueness of resource names, thereby expanding the application range of an M2M service provider and avoiding the duplicated registration of a same resource. |
