PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery monitoring device capable of appropriately dealing with overcurrent generation caused by submergence or the like while suppressing cost of manufacture.SOLUTION: A battery monitoring device 20 is connected to a battery set 10 that is configured as a serial connection body of a plurality of unit cells 11, via a connection part 32 and monitors the plurality of unit cells. The battery monitoring device 20 includes: battery monitoring electric paths L1 to Ln+1 connected to positive pole sides and negative pole sides of the plurality of unit cells, respectively; protection elements 23 and 25 for overcurrent prevention which are provided while being packaged in a predetermined packaging portion 31 in the middle of each of the electric paths; and waterproof parts 61-63 which is provided in a portion where an overcurrent short-circuiting path that does not pass the protection elements, is formed with short-circuiting, and in which waterproof processing is partially applied to the portion where short-circuiting occurs. |
