PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that separates a non-spreading type botulinum toxin with localized muscular paralytic activity although it does not spread in the body.SOLUTION: A purification method of a non-spreading type botulinum toxin comprises the steps of: separating purified botulinum toxin type A formulations into sub-fractions by conducting anion ion-exchange resin chromatography adjusting pH to a range of 4.5-6.5, and concentration of sodium chloride (NaCl) to 0.02-0.2M and adding the pH 4.5-6.5 and 0.02-0.2M of sodium chloride (NaCl); and acquiring a non-spreading botulinum toxin fraction that maintains a level of 0.4-0.6 of A260/A280 value of the sub-fractions. |
