PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus that detects an operation by an indication body and has improved stability of the detection, a video projection device, an information processing method, and a program.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, there is provided an information processing apparatus including a distance information acquisition part, an operation detection part, and an updating part. The distance information acquisition part acquires distance information on a distance to an object including at least a part of a projection surface on which a video is projected. The operation detection part detects an operation by an indication body on the basis of a reference distance and the distance information. The updating part updates the reference distance on the basis of a temporal change of the detected operation and a temporal change in the acquired distance information. |
