PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a structure to be simplified and a device to be made small in size while improving engine output.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an outboard motor having a V-type 4-cycle engine 11. Each of a left side exhaust manifold 41 and a right side exhaust manifold 42 extending in parallel with a crank shaft 26 while being communicated with each of the exhaust ports 36 of a plurality of cylinders 40 arranged at a left bank 27 and a right bank 28 is installed outside in a width direction of the outboard motor. An exhaust pipe 46 vertically arranged in parallel with the crank shaft 26 and connected to an exhaust passage of an engine holder is installed in each of the exhaust passages 41T, 42T of the left side exhaust manifold 41 and the right side exhaust manifold 42. The exhaust pipe 46 is displaced to an opposite side and arranged in respect to an opening of each of the exhaust ports 36 communicated with each of the exhaust passages 41T, 42T of the left exhaust manifold 41 and the right exhaust manifold 42, and exhaust collecting space for collecting exhausts from each of the exhaust ports 36 is formed between the exhaust pipe 46 and an opening of each of the exhaust ports 36. |
