PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injector including a sensor detecting a state of a combustion chamber and provided in a tip end portion thereof facing the combustion chamber, capable of airtight sealing a clearance between the fuel injector and a pressure sensor.SOLUTION: A fuel injector comprises: a valve body 33 inserted into an injector hole 19 formed in an internal combustion engine body 3 and including tip end portions 41 and 45 facing a combustion chamber 7; a sensor 38 formed into a cylindrical shape and supported by an outer circumference of the valve body 33; and an annular seal member 108 sealing a clearance between an outer surface of the valve body 33 and an inner surface of the sensor 38, a tip end portion of the sensor 38 extending toward the combustion chamber 7 to be closer to the combustion chamber 7 than a tip end portion of the valve body 33 and including a locking portion 103 formed on an inner surface thereof, and the seal member 108 being held between the locking portion 103 and the valve body 33. |
