PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a redundant system and an alarm management method which are designed to ensure that no discord in fault information occurs between a monitoring server and an active-system device.SOLUTION: When switching to a standby-system device in a redundant system at the time of fault or at the time of maintenance, etc., an active-system device transmits the fault information that it holds to the standby-system device as fault event information, and notifies a monitoring server about the device name of the standby-system device to which to be switched as device alarm information. The monitoring server rewrites the device name that generated the fault that it stores with the device name in the device alarm information, and re-registers the rewritten device name. When the fault information received from the old active-system device is restored, the old standby-system device that has now become a new active-system device notifies the monitoring server about an identifier for specifying the fault information and the device name of the current active-system device (old standby-system device) as recovery alarm information. |
