Disclosed are a VOIP exchange method and a relevant device. The method comprises: acquiring first global ID information or second global ID information; when the first global ID information is acquired, sending the first global ID information to a base station and a serving gateway where a called terminal is located, in order that the base station and the serving gateway where the called terminal is located perform local exchange for a calling terminal and the called terminal according to the first global ID information; and when the second global ID information is acquired, informing the base station where the calling terminal and the called terminal are located to perform local exchange for the calling terminal and the called terminal according to the second global ID information. The present invention can be used to solve the path redundancy phenomenon existing in VOIP of a mobile network, so as to reduce network traffic and network investment. |
