PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor of a rotary electric machine, in which a protruding part of a shaft member is engaged with a skew groove disposed in an inclination direction to a shaft direction of a rotor core so as to improve workability in assembling the shaft member to the rotor core and enhance durability.SOLUTION: A rotor 10 includes a rotor core 50 to be fixed to an outer diameter side of a shaft member 20. The rotor core 50 has a laminate 52 that is formed of a plurality of electromagnetic steel plates that displaced circumferentially and laminated and has a skew groove 55 inclined toward an inner circumferential face relative to a shaft direction. The shaft member 20 includes: an outer tubular body 30 that is provided on an outer circumferential face relative to the shaft direction and has an engagement protruding part 36 to be inserted into the skew groove 55; and an inner shaft main body 40 that is inserted into an inner circumference side of the outer tubular body. The engagement protruding part 36 is deformed, so that a part of the outer tubular body is pushed out toward the outer diameter side, and then formed, by inserting the inner shaft main body 40 into the inner circumference side of the outer tubular body. |
