摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignitor which does not need an exclusive energization passage at a failure of a boosting circuit part, avoids the lowering of fuel economy, and suppresses the discharge of exhaust.SOLUTION: An ignitor blocks a primary current by an ignition switch, and inputs energy at a prescribed energy input period after generating the discharge of an ignition plug by a secondary current. In the boosting circuit part, two boosting units are connected to each other in parallel with each other. When it is determined that one boosting unit is abnormal by an abnormality determination part, an ignition control part as input energy control means lowers a target second current I2with respect to a normal time, or sets an energy input period IGW short. By this constitution, energy generated by the boosting circuit part can be efficiently inputted without arranging a failure-exclusive energization passage. Accordingly, stable evacuation traveling can be realized while avoiding the lowering of fuel economy, and suppressing the discharge of emission such as an unburnt gas.
