PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator communication method and system capable of establishing wireless communications without stopping an elevator even in the case of a trouble or replacement work.SOLUTION: Provided is an elevator communication method for transferring information on each floor to an elevator drive system for controlling the cage of an elevator in a building structure. The elevator drive system comprises: a wireless terminal for a host jointed to the elevator drive system; and a plurality of wireless terminals for a hall provided at each floor of the building structure. The wireless terminal for the hall at each floor is caused to transfer information to the host wireless terminal by signal transfer processing of a predetermined order between upper and lower floors, and the information on the host wireless terminal to each hall wireless terminal. In the case where the hall wireless terminal cannot perform the information transmission by the signal transfer processing between the upper and lower floors, the hall wireless terminal performs information transmission by broadcast communication, and secures a communication path to a host wireless terminal via another hall wireless terminal having received the broadcast communication. |
