PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a portable terminal to easily obtain print data in a web server device and transmit it to an MFP when the portable terminal and MFP are directly connected.SOLUTION: A communication method includes the steps of: obtaining information on connection to an MFP, from the MFP by using a short-range radio communication method such as NFC; obtaining print data in a web server device via a network; establishing communication with the MFP by using a radio communication method such as WLAN that is different from the method; transmitting the obtained print data to the MDP; and then cancelling the established communication. |
