The invention makes it possible to reduce the number of man-hours required to prepare a maintenance plan for assets such as bridges. An asset management system predicts a future degree of deterioration of an asset on the basis of asset information and inspection result information relating to the asset, and prepares, using a computer, a plan comprising the maintenance year of the asset and a budget for the maintenance cost. The asset management system executes a step in which a plurality of assets having maintenance years and construction sites that are close to one another are extracted, as simultaneous maintenance groups of assets to be maintained in the same year, from a provisional medium-term plan prepared from a medium to long-term plan, the extracted simultaneous maintenance groups are listed in descending order of cost saving effect, and comparison information reflecting cases in which simultaneous maintenance is performed and is not performed are presented to a user. |
