The present invention relates to cyclohexene derivatives, a method for producing the same, and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating metabolic diseases, containing the same as an active ingredient. The cyclohexene derivatives in accordance with the present invention activate G protein-coupled receptor 119 (GPR-119) to increase intracellular activity of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP), and induce the release of neurosecretion protein glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) to simultaneously cause weight loss and a drop in blood sugar level. Therefore, the cyclohexene derivatives can be effectively used as a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating metabolic diseases such as obesity, type I diabetes, type II diabetes, impaired glucose tolerance, insulin resistance, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, hypertriglyceridemia, hypercholesteremia, dyslipidemia, X syndrome, and the like.
