PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide topical pharmaceutical compositions comprising 2-Methyl-4'-trifluoromethoxy-biphenyl-3-carboxylic acid (6-(cis-2,6-dimethyl-morpholine-4-yl)-pyridine-3-yl]-amide for treating dermatological diseases, disorders or conditions mediated by the hedgehog signaling pathway including hyperproliferative skin conditions, Gorlin's syndrome, basal cell carcinoma, sebaceous hyperplasia and psoriasis, which has advantageous properties such as optimum penetration of active compound into the skin, limited systemic exposure, good stability and/or acceptance by the patient.SOLUTION: Provided is a topical pharmaceutical composition comprising: the designated compound; one or more solvents; optionally an oily phase; optionally one or more antioxidants; optionally one or more consistency improvers; optionally one or more surfactants; optionally one or more preservatives; and optionally one or more gelling agents. |
