PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of electric motor capable of suppressing stoppage of output from a normal energization system, upon occurrence of abnormality in some of a plurality of energization systems.SOLUTION: In a controller of an electric motor including a plurality of energization systems each constituted of an inverter and a winding corresponding to a plurality of phases, first diagnostic processing for detecting presence or absence of abnormality of each energization system in the energization control state, and second diagnostic processing for detecting presence or absence of abnormality of each energization system in the energization control stop state, are performed. When abnormal state of an energization system is detected in the first diagnostic processing and normal state of the energization system is detected in the second diagnostic processing, or when abnormal state is detected in the first diagnostic processing and abnormal state is detected in other energization system in a state where energization control is stopped, energization control of the electric motor is resumed. |
