PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical type air conditioner which can be used not only in a season when heating is necessary but also in a season when heating is unnecessary as an electric fan, in which a warm air heater in the season when heating is necessary blows heated air from below, and in which the electric fan in the season when heating is unnecessary blows normal temperature air from upper and lower sides of the device and increases an air amount.SOLUTION: A vertical type air conditioner A forms an upper region 20 and a lower region 30 in a vertical casing 10. In the upper region, a first air outlet 21, a first fan 22 and a first motor (direct current) 23 for driving the fan are provided. In the lower region, a second air outlet 31, a second fan 32, a second motor (alternating current) 33 for driving the fan and an electric heater 34 between the second air outlet and the second fan are provided. When conduction to the electric heater is ON, heated air is blown out of the second air outlet, and when the conduction to the electric heater is OFF, normal temperature air is blown out of the first air outlet and the second air outlet. |
