PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tube including a cooling mechanism.SOLUTION: The X-ray tube includes: a cathode that emits an electron; an anode target that emits an X-ray; a metal envelope formed in the shape of a bottomed cylinder including a bottom part and a cylinder part, in which a through-hole is formed through the bottom part, an opening is provided on an inner face of the bottom part and the opening is closed with the anode target; a cooling mechanism including an inflow cooling path and an exhaust cooling path; and a cylindrical ceramic envelope holding the cathode and including an opening. Further, the X-ray tube includes: a heat-conductive filling member connecting the cylinder part of the metal envelope to the opening of the ceramic enclosure; a sealing metal part formed along an inner peripheral surface of the filling member for sealing the metal envelope and the ceramic enclosure; and a metal cylinder which is mounted in the ceramic envelope and through which the metal envelope is inserted with a fine interval therebetween for transferring heat that is transferred to the ceramic envelope, to the cooling mechanism. |
