PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry method of a processed object that improves dry performance of a dryer, easily processes processed objects in large, and enables downsizing, a horizontal rotary type dryer, and a dry speed evaluation method of a processed object.SOLUTION: In a method for drying a processed object with a horizontal rotary type dryer, a rotary cylinder is rotated and the processed object is dried so that a critical speed ratio α defined by the following formulas (1), (2) is 30% or more and less than 100%: Vc=2.21D(1); α=V/Vc×100 (2), where Vc represents a critical speed (m/s), D represents the inner diameter (m) of the rotary cylinder, α represents a critical speed ratio (%), and V represents rotary speed (m/s). |
